Versaplan DMC is a website built to facilitate the work structure for all divisions within the DMC (Destination Management Company) internal company which is implemented at Balive, this system covers all divisions within the company which can provide time efficiency in working, creating a good workflow in integration with each division, to make it easier to record data so that it can make tax reporting easier.
In developing the Versaplan DMC website, my position as a full stack web developer who contributed started at the stage of approaching each division to find out problems & study their workflow, system flow analysis, database design, backend development, testing, and deployment to live servers.
Development Stages:
- Approach each division & study the work flow and look for the problems they face, then record each point in the approach.
- Enter the system flow analysis stage by finalizing the results of the previous approach so as to produce notes regarding what is needed in the system.
- Start designing a database based on a breakdown of the results of previous analysis.
- Prepare the tools & framework that will be used to build the website and start developing the backend & frontend.
- After the website has gone through the development stage, it then enters the testing stage by creating a staging server block for testing the website online.
- After successfully passing the testing stage, then deploy the project to a live server so that it can be accessed by the company’s internal and related partners.
- Carrying out regular maintenance.
