What is IAMRA?
The International Association of Medical Regulatory Authorities (IAMRA) exists to support the world’s medical regulatory authorities (MRA). Through scientific, educational and collaborative activities, IAMRA seeks to encourage best practices among the world’s MRAs and respond to their current and future needs.
IAMRA’s goal is to promote effective medical regulation worldwide by guiding the medical profession and supporting best practices, innovation, collaboration and knowledge sharing in the interest of public safety.
IAMRA 2023 Conference
The 15th IAMRA International Conference on Medical Regulation with the theme “Regulation in a disrupted world: Challenges and Opportunities“, will take place on 6-9 November 2023 at the Merusaka Hotel, Nusa Dua, Bali.
Experiences
I was given the opportunity to join one of the company units (BACOMA) to participate as a technical support leader in the registration section during the event.
Tasks Performed:
- Provide briefings to each LO (Liaison Officer) regarding technical & flow aspects of the registration section.
- Provide training to each LO to be able to operate the registration system.
- Setting up computers & other devices, as well as overseeing other needs such as networking.
- Supervise & Backup work in the registration section during the event.
- Maintain and provide guidance to each participant regarding technical requirements related to checkin and event programs when registering.
- Ensure a stable workflow in the registration section during the event.
